The Museum has been designed to enable visitors to trace the 120-year history of the Japanese electric power industry, which has always focused on securing a stable supply of electric power for Japan as well as caring for the environment.
The Museum holds a large collection of actual historical objects to help visitors appreciate the importance of manufacturing, as well as the roles of the electrical machinery and appliance industries in producing essential components such as generators and transformers.

16:00 Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street
One of the most attractive sightseeing in Tokyo is Asakusa.
Asakusa is located in east of Tokyo.
It had evolved as a temple town of Sensō-ji Temple which is the oldest temple in Tokyo.
Sensō-ji Temple is often called “Asakusa Kannon” named for a statue of Bodhisattva Kannon which is the principle image of Sensō-ji Temple.
The old Japanese atmosphere is very impressive for foreign tourists.
The gate of Sensō-ji Temple called Kaminarimon is well-known by the large and red chōchin, has become a symbol of the town.
On either side of the gate, Fujin and Raijin statues are there as the guardian deities.
Nakamise is an old shopping street with 90 attractive shops.
It had opened 300 years ago in the early years of the Edo period, which is lined with many souvenir shops selling a variety of Japanese goods.
It is the approach from the Kaminarimon to the Main Hall.

The Power Station has highly efficient and environmentally-friendly ACC (Advanced Combined Cycle) system.
ACC combined gas turbine with steam turbine.
Compared with conventional 42% thermal efficiency steam power generation, ACC enhances thermal efficiency up to 54% which can save approximately 190 million gallons of petroleum.
